I run audio recorders in the Huon Valley wilderness at night and I pick up some strange sounds.
This is a recent one.
Dunno what it is. I am told the endangered green and gold frog sounds like a motorbike, but I could not find a recording to verify.
Anyone know what makes this sound?
EDIT: I now think this sound was created by a fault in the recording unit, even though it has been working fine since. The recording sounds too uniform to be an animal, even for a frog.
